Our Cheer

"Hoh ah! Swee ah! Pak Buey Tohh ah!" (in Hokkien)

Translated to Mandarain:  好啊!美啊!打不倒啊!

This was a cheer passed down by our Seniors and we will always cheer it after our training and of course, during competitions!

Hello everybody!

(I thought I should post something here. :D)

ouhh~YES! Finally IVP 2010 is over!!!
(No need to starve to maintain weight already right?! WOOHOO! ;D)

In a competition. There are always winners and losers. But there are 2 type of winners.

one, the physical Winner.
two, the mental Winner.

Physical winner is the one who fought well and won the match, got a medal etc.
Mental winner is the one who fought hard for the match, but of coz, might not win anything in the end.

It comes to my point that - I can see that most of you really fought hard for your own medals, your own match and faced the opponents with pride and courage.

Maybe till the end, we might not get anything physically (a medal for example), BUT! You know that you tried your best and your learnt something out of it, isn't that sufficient for now??

A medal is always A BIG BONUS in any competition.
Able to take part in a competition, you are already holding 70% chance of winning.
(The 70% includes your tedious and useful trainings you had before the competition)

30% depend on your luck, your ability to execute what you have learnt and your determination to win the competition.

Ask yourself, did you fulfil at least 20% of the 30%? (Which most probably be your ability to executee what you have learnt and your determination?)

IF you have, you have nothing to feel remorseful or regret about. :)

IF YOU HAVE NOT, ask yourself why?
Is it because you did not make full use of the chance to train hard before any competition or, is it yourself, who did not have a strong determination to win?

Question yourselves and you will know what to do next. :)

Of coz, NEVER GIVE UP! NEVER EVER LOSE HOPE!
If you feel that you did not do your best, then try working hard again! ;)

There is no point dwelling into the past. We are have to look forward and prepare for the future!
Most importantly, stay bonded and help each other on the way! :)

Quote from Bee Siang (President 06/07),
We kick together, encourage each other & improve together. We are not individuals, but ONE.

I look forward to NPTKD having greater achievements in the near future!

JIAYOU NPTKDians! ;)
